FAQs

Updated: Jan 11, 2022

Are you currently taking bookings during the pandemic?

Yes, as of now (January 2022) I am still currently taking on private, commercial, film and and wedding party bookings. With the Omicron variant numbers on the rise, if Washington state laws change or we go back to Phase 1 and I am legally unable to perform services, I will be in touch with clients.

What are you doing differently now that COVID-19 is a concern?

With COVID-19 now being a concern, I am still continuing my normal sanitation practices but have added in additional precautions. I will arrive on location in a mask and will keep it on throughout the entire duration of your appointment. In addition, I may sometimes be wearing a secondary face shield (depending on up-to-date regulations), and will always be using a fresh set of gloves per client. My client's sanitation and safety is the most important thing to me as a professional. I will also be requiring a signed COVID addendum to my booking contracts and bookings will not be accepted without it.

What services do you offer?

I currently take on bookings for private clients for events such as party makeup, maternity photos, or family pictures. I also offer makeup services for professionals for headshots or interviews, music videos, commercials, tv, film, boudoir, and weddings. Please inquire using the form on my website about how to book an appointment. In addition to this, I also offer private one-on-one classes, Girls Night In group classes, and sell professional makeup products.

How can I book you for my wedding?

In order to reserve your wedding date, I require a signed contract and nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the booking party total. The first step in the booking process is to fill out the Bridal Questionnaire on my website here. After checking if your wedding date is available, I will be in touch to schedule a complimentary phone call to go over details and see if we are a good fit. Once the contract is signed and deposit cleared, your date will be secured and we will schedule a trial according to your wedding date. Bookings are first come, first serve, and your date is not secured without both a signed contract and deposit.

How soon should I book you?

As soon as possible! Some of my bookings are reserved up to a year and a half out, so sooner is always better. Bookings are first come, first serve and your date is not secured without a signed contract and deposit.

What are your prices?

Please see my Bridal Menu on my website for information on pricing, packages, and travel fees. Please note that I have a $600 minimum for wedding party bookings.

Do you have a minimum? What does that mean?

I have a $600 minimum for wedding parties in 2022. A minimum means that's the minimum cost in order to reserve your date. To reach the minimum, that would typically be makeup for the the bride + 3 others (bridesmaids or family members). If you are a single bride wanting services, I have other on-site options available in order to meet the minimum.

Do you travel? What is your fee?

Yes! My travel fee is $1/mile, and if the travel time is over 2 hours one-way, overnight accommodations may be required.

Do you work on holidays?

Depending on the holiday and my availability, I will choose to book weddings or private clients on holidays with an additional $150 holiday flat fee.

How much time will it take for a makeup application?

Each makeup application will take an hour per person, which includes a consultation, full face application, eyelash application and clean-up time. If the timeline needs to be tightened, an assistant or artist can be brought in to ensure that your party is ready on time.

Can you accommodate my entire bridal party?

Yes! I have an assistant who I can bring along for parties of 5-7, and I have a pool of extremely talented artists that I know and trust who work parties of 8 or more with me to accommodate your timeline. In order to reserve an assistant or second artist, an additional fee will apply.

What is the trial for?

Your bridal trial is a run-through appointment where we discuss your likes and dislikes, ideal makeup goals for your wedding day and look at inspiration photos. After your makeup appointment we will go over any adjustments that you’d like to see and nail your look 100% so that on your wedding day you can relax and not have to worry about your makeup at all!

Where will the trial be?

For your bridal trial, I can come to you! If you are an out-of-town bride, accommodations can be made to hold your trial in a salon space or in my home depending on availability.

What kind of makeup do you use?

I use various brands of makeup in my professional kit that have been tried and tested to perform the best on long and hot days. My favorite brands are Temptu, NARS, Seint, MAC, Benefit, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Stila, and Becca to name just a few in my arsenal!

Do you airbrush?

Yes! I exclusively offer airbrush foundation to all of my clients. I truly believe that airbrush foundation gives a higher quality finish and has a better longevity of wear than most traditional foundations. Airbrush foundation allows me to have total control over customized coverage and shade blending, it looks beautiful in photos and still looks like your skin - only flawless!

Do you offer traditional foundation for a cheaper price?

I currently only offer airbrush foundation because I feel it allows me to give the highest quality service.

If I have lash extensions will my service be cheaper?

My pricing for lashes is already built in and discounted and is based on both goods used as well as timing. Lash extensions can typically take more time to work around, therefore if you choose to not use lashes in your service the pricing will not change.

Do you also offer wedding hair services?

I do not offer hair services for wedding parties but have a team of trusted and talented stylists whom I work with frequently that I can recommend.
