FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are you doing differently now that COVID-19 is a concern?

With COVID-19 now being a concern, I am still continuing my normal sanitation practices but have added in additional precautions to follow current Washington state guidelines. Based on updated mask mandates, I will not be wearing a mask unless requested to do so, which I am happy to accomodate. I will always be using sanitized brushes a fresh set of gloves per client. I will also be requiring a signed COVID addendum to my booking contracts and bookings will not be accepted without it.

What services do you offer?

I currently take on bookings for private clients for events such as event makeup, maternity photos, or family pictures. I also offer makeup services for professionals for head shots or interviews, music videos, commercials, tv, film, boudoir, and weddings. I offer basic hairstyling for events, and I have a team of hairstylists who offer hair services for weddings. Please inquire using the form on my website about how to book an appointment. In addition to this, I also offer private one-on-one classes, Girls Night In group classes, and sell professional makeup products.

How can I book you for my wedding?

In order to reserve your wedding date, I require a signed contract and nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the booking party total. The first step in the booking process is to fill out the Bridal Questionnaire located at the bottom of my Contact page. After checking if your wedding date is available, I will be in touch to schedule a complimentary phone call to go over details and see if we are a good fit. Once the contract is signed and deposit cleared, your date will be secured and we will schedule a trial according to your wedding date. Bookings are first come, first serve, and your date is not secured without both a signed contract and deposit.

How soon should I book you?

As soon as possible! Some of my bookings are reserved up to a year and a half out, so sooner is always better. Bookings are first come, first serve and your date is not secured without a signed contract and deposit.

What are your prices?

Please see my Bridal Menu on my website for information on pricing, packages, and travel fees. Please note that I have a $850 minimum for wedding party bookings (ex: Classic Bride + 4 bridesmaids or attendees).

Do you have a minimum? What does that mean?

I have a $850 minimum for wedding parties in 2023. A minimum means that's the minimum cost in order to reserve your date, which allows me to maximize my time during the limited weekends available during bridal season. To reach the minimum, that would typically be makeup for the the bride + 4 others (bridesmaids or family members). If you are a single bride wanting services, I have other on-site options available in order to meet the minimum. Please note that travel fees and assistant fees do not count towards the service minimum.

What is your assistant fee and why is it there?

When a party is larger than I can service alone based on timing and labor (which is most weddings), I need to bring an assistant on-site to help me to ensure we can get your party done in the allotted time. I have to pay these assistants to come on site, which is why there is a fee to cover their cost. Depending on the party size, we may need more than one assistant. Here is the breakdown of assistant needs:

-Party of 4-7 - 1 Assistant

-Party of 8-9 - 1 Assistant

-Party of 10 - 3 Assistants

-Party of 12+ - 3+ Assistants

Please note that while this is an approximate guideline. The final decision of assistants needed will depend upon the total number of people receiving services as well as the timeline for the wedding day and will be up to the artists' discretion.

Do you travel? What is your fee?

Yes! My travel fee for 2022 bookings is $1/mile, and if the travel time is over 2 hours one-way, overnight accommodations may be required. Due to the rising price of gas and travel, for all 2023 bookings I will be implementing a flat-rate fee based on mileage. The 2023 travel breakdown is as follows:

- 0-25 miles = $50

- 26 - 50 miles = $100

- 51 + = $2/mile

Do you work on holidays?

Depending on the holiday and my availability, I will choose to book weddings or private clients on holidays with an additional $150 holiday flat fee.

How much time will it take for a makeup application?

Each makeup application will take an hour per person, which includes a consultation, luxury skin prep, full face application, eyelash application and clean-up time. If the timeline needs to be tightened, an assistant or artist can be brought in to ensure that your party is ready on time.

Can you accommodate my entire bridal party?

Yes! I have an assistant who I can bring along for parties of 5-7, and I have a pool of extremely talented artists that I know and trust on my bridal team who work parties of 8 or more with me to accommodate your timeline. In order to reserve an assistant or second artist, an additional fee will apply.

What is the trial for?

Your bridal trial is a run-through appointment where we discuss your likes and dislikes, ideal makeup goals for your wedding day and look at inspiration photos. After your makeup appointment we will go over any adjustments that you’d like to see and nail your look 100% so that on your wedding day you can relax and not have to worry about your makeup at all!

Where will the trial be?

For your bridal trial, I have an intimate studio space in downtown Spokane. I am also available to come to you with a travel fee.

What kind of makeup do you use?

I use various brands of makeup in my professional kit that have been tried and tested to perform the best on long and hot days. My favorite brands are Temptu, NARS, Seint, MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Benefit, and Anastasia Beverly Hills to name just a few in my arsenal!

Do you airbrush?

Yes! I offer both traditional foundation or an airbrush foundation upgrade to all of my clients. I truly believe that airbrush foundation gives a higher quality finish and has a better longevity of wear than most traditional foundations. Airbrush foundation allows me to have total control over customized coverage and shade blending, it looks beautiful in photos and still looks like your skin - only flawless!

If I have lash extensions will my service be cheaper?

Lashes are complimentary and included in your makeup application. Lash extensions can typically take more time to work around, therefore if you choose to not use lashes in your service the pricing will not change.

Do you also offer wedding hair services?

I do not offer hair services for wedding parties but have a team of trusted and talented stylists on my team available for your wedding party.

For any additional questions, please fill out an inquiry form on my Contact page and I will be in touch!
